Over the next 5 days, you'll re-connect with a special power you've always possessed but barely notice.
It's a power your can't live without but often take for granted. With you from the moment you are born, staying with you all your life. An incredible talent, which serves you well, for so long. It's the power of your life-giving breath.

Day 1: The Power to Find Balance
In Day 1, we re-connect with the a power we've possessed all our lives but barely notice - our breath. We'll share the many functions of the breath and why we depend on it.
And together we'll unlock the 1st power - balance - in our first mindfulness practice. Once which grounds us, regulates our nervous system and reduces symptoms of stress.

Day 2: The Power to Increase Focus
In Day 2 we discuss the many ways our digitally overloaded lives, and multi-tasking, can limit our ability to focus. And we share home and work scenarios, which make this even more challenging for us.
But this is where our 2nd power of the breath - Focus - and "Box Breathing" comes in. We'll do this famous practice, found in both ancient and modern traditions, to help us regain focus and increase our capacity in future.

Day 3: The Power to Boost Vitality
In Day 3, we re-discover a lost art. One we mastered as children but tend to lose as adults.
We share how the diaphragm supports our breathing, and why harnessing the power of this vital muscle, can help us produce energy more efficiently.
This is where we meet our 3rd power of the breath - Vitality - and together we'll share a mindful abdominal breathing practice, to regain a lost art.

Day 4: The Power to Renew and Heal
In Day 4, we explore how different types of stress affect us - the normal cycles of ups and down we experience. And the accumulated stress which can negatively impact our health and wellbeing and lead to chronic stress and burnout.
We then share how the branches of our autonomic nervous system can be kept in balance, through a powerful coherent breathing practice - introducing our 4th power - one of renewal, calm and healing.

Day 5: The Power to Transform Awareness
In Day 5, I share a story of my personal experience with the power of the breath. How my growth in meditation practice took a leap of awareness and growth, when I learned to focus my attention on the breath.
And how practices like Breath Awareness, can bring about our 5th power - Transformation. Not just in managing stress or regulating emotions. But also by creating a mind-body bridge, we can depend on for stability, health, happiness and connection.
